(just the important bits)
I currently work for edX as a Product Designer focusing primarily on our B2B consumer experience and our content authoring experience.
How I got here:
I graduated from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2013 with a B.S. in Neuroscience/English.
After a brief stint as a baker (yes, like bread and scones and such), I began working at a clinical trial company and organically fell into a product management role. In early 2016, after that company was acquired, I started working at Wayfair as a Product Manager. I had the opportunity to talk directly with users and work on projects to improve the tools we offered, but I wanted to focus on how to improve the end-user experience holistically.
In late 2017, I transitioned into a Product Design role on the enterprise product design team, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and (most importantly) our users.
In my spare time, I enjoy cycling and hiking and almost anything that gets me outdoors.
